The wedding's over, and my leave's over...I wish it could have gone on and on and on and onnnn...
But well, fat hopes. Reality finds me back at the ward feeding babies, changing nappies, giving medication, and trying to stay awake (during night shift) all at the same time...haha, okie I'll not scare you, I ain't such a sleepyhead at work lah. =P
So, the wedding...the day before the wedding was crazy. I felt the stress only then...kinda late I know, but haha, that's me. =P Everyone was like Ly here, Ly there, Ly here, Ly everywhere! I was out of the house from morning to night, and when I got home, I had more stuff to do.
I slept only at about 2am...and I went to bed only to find myself thinking and trying to figure if I've missed out any detail and trying to sleep. But I wasn't the only one...jiejie also was still awake, so I hopped into her (single) bed with her and we huddled under the blanket for the last time before she got married and became Mrs.Cheng. We chatted till she fell asleep, which was about 3am...and before we knew it, the alarm clock rang.
At 5.45am, we started bustling around the house like some busy rats, only we are not rats...until Mum came round and said that we're gonna pray as a family for jiejie's last time as Ms.Tang. So in the living room we planted our butts, and for the next 15 minutes, we prayed for jiejie and Jaeson...and of course, us being such girls, there were tears. Well, it's hard letting our big sister go...Mum cried the hardest, I think. But in the midst of tears, we found laughter when I said, "This sounds like a funeral!"
After that Mum said to finish our crying and not to cry anymore in church during the ceremony. Haha, she was the first to cry in church! =P Oh well, anyway, everything was beautiful...jiejie was a beautiful bride, no wonder Jaeson was so nervous when it was his turn to say his vows. =P Heheheh...
