dis-connected
I feel like I'm so out of touch. So disconnected. From so many things (and people). Like the Kluangites. The only people I meet in Kluang are my family, occasionally Jit (and baby...he's superdad now, hehe =P), and some random people I run into at random places.

The last time I was back was more than a week ago and I was at the Convent sports day. Brought back lots of memories...from the perbarisan to the cheering (more like screeching and screaming, now that I think about it, haha...) and the entire atmosphere lah. It was great. Even greater was seeing my baby sister (sorry Jem, kekekeh...you're still our baby sister =P) run and...AND break records. AND take the Olahragawati prizes. So bangga lah... =)

Can you just imagine, years ago when I was in Form 1 and 2, Ku Sleny (remember her, girls?) was like THE idol. THE role model to follow. THE school icon (for a period of time, that is). Most, if not all, the girls were like in awe of her...I think they almost always fainted when in her presence. *rolls eyes* (I wasn't one of them, if you're wondering.) So anyways, she ran like the wind and broke many records...but I must now proudly announce that Jem has broken her 100m record for Bahagian C (Jem also broke the record for the long jump event). Amazing...and we were all there to see. =) So proud of you, Jemmie...you go, girl!

There's something very relaxing about Kluang...every time I go back, I TOTALLY DO NOT think about work. It's great. And okie, don't get me wrong. I like the kids, and I like what I do...but just sometimes, I need a break from all the routinely stuff that I do. If you get what I mean...

Okie...I can't wait for my long break to come. And it's not till the end of April. Bahh...

Touched By Love
Chinese New Year this year was really different.

Firstly, because I was working on the eve AND first day of CNY. Felt really bo liao...like I didn't have anything else I'd rather do in the whole wide world than work. But what to do...duty calls. It's a different experience lah...at least you'll feel how those patients who cannot go home for CNY feel. So it's alright, we're in it together. =)

Secondly, my whole family came on the eve and we had reunion dinner......at Pizzahut. Hehe, I know... =P But it was so fun, and I really am so touched that they came...thank you, Dad, Mum, jiejie, Jo, Pris, Jem. =)

Thirdly, because I fell sick on the second day on the way to Muar...I had a terrible headache on the way and it made me feel like vomiting. Good thing we reached my uncle's place before I puked...and throughout the whole lunch, my head felt so heavy and I spiked a fever and I wanted to lie down the whole time (but of course I couldn't so had to tahan till we got back).

So that's my CNY story...oh, and we were sent some love letters in a tin by a family of one of our previous patients. Whenever I look at that tin sitting in the tea room, I feel so touched...I don't know why, maybe it's because of the fact that we nurses are thought of even during celebrations.

Oh and by the way, the love letters? They taste AWESOME. =)

Okie now, let the pictures speak!!

Just for laughs
Me: Madam pergi mana?

Dani: Pergi slimming.

Me: Huh?? Pergi mana?

Dani: Slimming pooooollll!! Madam pergi slimming poooolll!

And there goes me thinking, oh, SWIMMING pool.

Well, that's my landlady's maid for you. Haha, if there really was a "slimming pool", I'm sure it would be absolutely crowded. =P

And people who wanna get slimmer would actually be glad to wear "slimming suits" too.

Kekekekeh... =P

today
Feeling particularly lonely today.
Missing you,
you,
you,
you,
you,
you,
and you.
