I really thought she could survive longer than this...but she didn't make it. =(
Sigh...we had hopes that she would go home one day, and she did; but only for home leave. After nursing her for almost a year now, it's sad to see her go. But it's also true that she doesn't have to suffer anymore.
I'm sad mostly for her parents...they would come every single day after a long day at work, without fail. And then they'd stay with her till past midnight when she falls asleep and then head back home. It is the same for them everyday, ever since she was born. Imagine doing that for a year...
Anyways, she's in a better place now. We could have only hoped for a longer life for her but ultimately her life is in God's hands. Rest in peace, little girl...
