stale stories

Woooohh...okie so I have not been writing in here for some time.

Our ward princess turned two last week (she's such a toughie lah...it's amazing), and the price of petrol has gone up so crazily.

We got news that tonnes and tonnes of people were queueing up at petrol kiosks just to fill up their tanks before midnight struck that day...and Jo and I were thinking, what an unearthly thing to do. You drive all the way there and then wait in the car and waste whatever precious petrol that's left in your tank...

And then our dear mummy said (later that night) that we should go fill our tanks up as well. I was like, what??! Okie nevermind...so Jo took the yellow Ford, mum took the blue Ford, and I stayed home. Heheh...I thought I escaped. But Mum came back in a while exclaiming that the kiosk they went to sudah habis petrol. And she told me to take the Kia to other petrol kiosks.

Reluctantly, I went...and in my pajamas. I mean, I coudln't care less...I didn't have to get down from the car anyway. So I made my way to the Taman Emas petrol kiosk and, unsurprisingly, there was a long queue. So I waited...with the radio on and the doors locked, I was pretty comfortable and thinking this wasn't so bad after all.

After waiting for like almost 20 minutes, I was only inching forward and nowhere nearer to the kiosk. So I called Jo and asked where she was. She said she was at Taman Saujana and that I should go to Taman Desa because the queue was shorter. So okie lah, I took off to Taman Desa...

But lo and behold, as I was making my way there, the indicator that my tank was emptying started blinking. I started to worry...what if my tank really kosong and I got stranded? I was in my darn pajamas and my phone battery was dying...

Anyways to cut the long story short, I managed to get home in one piece, with my pajamas intact, my phone still alive, and with a tank of petrol worth RM 100.

Crazy lah...aiyoh.

And hmmm, why am I writing like this? I should blog more...my writing skills is staling away...eeeeeww.

guess what? i helped my roommate to refuel too... from my house to the petrol station only need 3mins padahal i took ONE HOUR for it! -_-" what da.......

Yalah~ wat da hell.. People queueing up.. so long... just for that. I was like.. Well, we can use d time to do other better things!~ LoL..
